Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Culver City Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search terms on its own servers. If you send a message, the mailbox receives the information included in that message and uses it to respond.
Routine Technical Logs
Hosting systems may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Those logs are reviewed in aggregate for site health, security, and readership trends. Basic cookies or similar tools may be used for analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the reference, repair faults, understand traffic, and improve the pages. Culver City Residents Directory does not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles from ordinary visits.
Outside Portals and Links
The pages link to county and state record portals, libraries, archives, courts, and third-party search tools. Each outside service controls its own privacy practices and terms. That includes sponsored search results. Review the destination policy before entering information there.
Who Receives Technical Data
Hosting and site-support providers may process server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it. It is not otherwise shared as a visitor list.
Security Measures
The connection uses encryption, and logs are kept only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts on this reference, so it does not maintain a password or personal profile for a visitor.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to the contact mailbox, ask us to remove it.
California Privacy Choices
Depending on the circumstances, California residents may have rights to know, correct, or delete personal information that a covered business keeps, and to opt out of sale or sharing or limit certain sensitive-information uses. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, appears at California Civil Code section 1798.100 and following sections. Because this reference retains little visitor information, a request usually means checking the contact mailbox and available server logs. Use the Contact page to ask.
Public deeds, court files, assessment records, and other records held by California, Los Angeles County, or Culver City custodians are outside this reference’s control. Access to existing city records follows the California Public Records Act, Government Code Division 10, including section 7922.535. A deletion or correction request for a government record must go to the office that maintains it. Commercial data brokers have separate opt-out and deletion routes, including California’s Delete Request and Opt-out Platform.
Policy Changes
An updated policy will be posted here with the revised text. Continued use after the update means the new version applies to later visits.
